Online Dating Tips for Men - New Year's Resolutions for 2011

With the New Year of 2011 quickly approaching, it's time to reflect on the things we could have done better in 2010, and firmly resolve not to make the same mistakes again in 2011.

It's now time to focus on all the positive things you can do as a modern man to make you feel more comfortable about yourself, to be more confident and outgoing, and to improve your health as much as you can. Addressing all of these key areas will fundamentally boost your awareness of how to go about finding that woman of your dreams and keeping her (if you want).

You simply must take actions in the world of online dating and even in "real world" dating this holds true, if you want to stand out from the crowd of millions (yes, I said millions, buddy) of other would-be Romeos looking to snare the very same girls you are targeting online.

Online Dating Tips for Men Top Five Resolutions for 2011

1. Get healthy. It's time to get off you big, fat behind and work off some of that Christmas turkey, cake and alcohol (too many beers, hey, bro?) that has settled in your ample gut and has decided it wants to convert into fat and hang around until next Christmas. You don't have to become a body builder in fact recent studies are showing that women are turning off the overly muscular guys quite quickly these days. Start off slowly, but within a month you should be running a few kilometres every other day. I've found a Swiss ball or similar such inflatable device (no, not a blow-up doll!) is unbelievable when it comes to getting inches off the gut. Combine this with a low-fat diet, and you are on your way.

2. Give up smoking. Yes, I know this is very hard (harder than giving up heroin addiction, according to some leading scientists), but give it your best shot, please. If you need help, you can try and find the answers online, but in my view the best approach is to consult with your doctor first (make sure he/she is not a smoker themselves!).

3. Read free e-books on the subject of online dating tips for men. There are far too many crappy resources online that actually charge you good money to read so-called secrets. The information you normally get in these expensive e-books is not "secrets" or even rocket science, but purely common sense distilled from experience. Do not pay a cent for online dating guides and the like, I don't care how many glowing testimonials they have. The exact same stuff is free online you just have to search for it. Or, it could be staring you right in the face!

4. Update your sorry-looking wardrobe. Hey, I bet you even have a pair of flared jeans in there somewhere, don't you? Perhaps a wide-collared shirt and some toweling wrist bands! Don't worry, fellas. The global financial crisis is your friend, because heaps of fashionable gear that usually costs a fortune is now going for a song at the after Christmas sales! My top fashion tip: nothing is as classy as a navy suit, followed by a charcoal grey suit with a blue pinstripe. A couple of nice shirts, ties and good quality leather shoes to complete the ensemble, and the women will be eating out of your hands. ZZ Top had it right every girl is crazy about a sharp dressed man!

5. Read articles about dating written by women. This can be invaluable if you want to get an insight into what they are thinking. On the downside, a lot of this is going to be contradictory, but if you stick to big online sites directed at women (especially online versions of the most popular women's magazine), you can get at least get a handle on what females are thinking at this time. That's important, because what they think in a few years time is almost guaranteed to be totally different, so you have to keep up to date.

Have a fruitful online dating experience in 2011, guys!
